A British/Belgian dual national, Jan has a background in applied chemistry with several years of experience in research and development, QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment), and regulatory compliance with AkzoNobel in the UK. She moved to Belgium in 2010 to work with the European Council of the Paint, Printing Ink and Artists’ Colours Industry (CEPE), and prior to joining AnimalhealthEurope, she worked for the International Association for Soaps, Detergents and Maintenance Products (A.I.S.E.) as Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Director.

With almost twenty years of experience working with the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) and the Commission on dossiers such as REACH and the CLP Regulation, Jan brings a wealth of knowledge to the three-person technical and regulatory team, and to the secretariat as a whole.
