AnimalhealthEurope Secretary General Roxane Feller was invited to speak at an important event held in Bulgaria where politicians and agri-stakeholders discussed the challenges and opportunities of the European Commission’s Farm to Fork strategy for a fair, healthy and environmentally-friendly food system.

Bulgarian Member of the European Parliament Sergei Stanishev opened the event which was aimed at ensuring all EU member states have their say in EU policy. The Minister and Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Bulgaria, along with representatives of Ministers of Agriculture from other Member States, MEPs from different countries and stakeholders from Brussels and from Bulgaria gathered to discuss the challenges of agriculture particularly in Central and Eastern Europe in these times of crisis.

The conference was an opportunity to put the spotlight on Member States which are too often overlooked by EU policy makers.
