AnimalhealthEurope welcomes new company members, Dechra and Phibro

This week the AnimalhealthEurope Board and General Assembly welcomed two new company members to the association. The UK-headquartered Dechra, and the US-headquartered Phibro join the 12 companies and 16 national associations forming the association.

Also at the General Assembly, Rob Kelly from MSD animal health was again elected president of the association for a third mandate, and is accompanied by vice-president Juan Pascual from Elanco, who previously held the role of treasurer.

Returning as second vice-president from the national association members for a second mandate is Adam Estrup from ViNordic, representing Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Iceland. And Loïc Jégou from Ceva Santé Animale was newly appointed to the role of treasurer. The four officers will serve the two-year term until mid-2027.

In other updates, our long-standing Polish member association POLPROWET has recently completed its transition to a newly registered employers’ organisation under the name POLPROVET, with a formal structure, and refreshed logo. This transition marks an important step in strengthening industry representation in Poland. POLPROVET has also expanded its membership, now counting 16 member companies that together represent the majority of the national veterinary medicines market.

Commenting on the new membership and updates to the officers, Roxane Feller, AnimalhealthEurope Secretary General said:
“We are delighted to welcome two new member companies to our association. Their addition strengthens our collective mission and further expands our drive to advocate for a business-friendly regulatory environment that supports innovation and excellence in animal health. Together, we can promote the importance of animal health care for the benefit of both animals and society.”
